1. Henri Cartier Bresson was famous for being one of the earliest pioneers in street photography and also famously known for capturing the decisive moment which would sometimes be spontaneous but sometimes he would also have to be patients.
Bresson travelled the world and captured the different sides of life and learn more about the culture that was surrounding him where ever he went. He travelled through all of Europe, India, China and Africa.



2. Bresson is very well known for his technique of capturing the Deceive Moments which photographers today continue to refer back to in there own work.
He has also has worked with a series of iconic people including Mahatma Ghandi shortly before his assignation in 1948 and Marilyn Monroe.

The photographs that Bresson had taken of Ghandi were greatly valued and used to document the life Ghandi and was Life Magazines most prized.
He is also famously known for capturing a series of Marilyn Monroe photographs

Another factor to his significance is he is one of five founders to the Magnum Photos which is one of the world premier agencies.
